In the fall of 2006, five Tufts students, Theron Corbin '08, Matt Johnson '09, Ted Boughter-Dornfeld '08, Alexi Paraschos '09, and Ikenna Acholonu '10, came together to form S -Factor. Citing a lack of available outlets to express their brand of musical expression, namely music of the African diaspora, these students resolved to create a group from which they could create and share art not only amongst themsleves, but with the greater Tufts community.

       

      Since then, S-Factor has become a brotherhood of students from all walks of life striving to create both meaning and quality entertainment through song.  Their music encompasses, but is not limited to Gospel, Spiritual, Soul, R&b, Funk, Hip Hop & Reggae. S-Factor released its first self-titled album Soul Factor  in 2010 and has been busy performing shows on its Medford Campus as well as various venues throughout the city of Boston.  

      

      As a service oriented group on the up & coming , S-Factor is always ready to share their talents with the world. As the lyrics to their signature standard "One More Time" states: "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for bretheren to dwell together in unity."
